DTF film comes in hot peel and cold peel varieties. Both make great prints — the right choice depends on your workflow and the finish you want.
Hot Peel (EZ Peel)
Peel the film immediately after pressing, while it’s still hot. This speeds up production — no waiting between shirts — making it ideal for high-volume shops.
Cold Peel
Wait for the transfer to cool before peeling. Cold peel can give a smoother, more matte finish and can be more forgiving on fine detail, but it slows your cycle time.
Which Should You Choose?
- Speed / volume → hot peel EZ film.
- Matte finish / fine detail → cold peel.
We stock both — including our 32″ cold-peel film and 12″/24″ EZ-peel rolls. Shop DTF film →
