Even dialed-in setups hit snags. Here are the most common DTF issues and how to fix them fast.
Prints Cracking or Peeling After Wash
Usually an under-curing problem. Make sure the powder fully melts (glossy, not grainy) and do a proper post-press. Check your cure temperature and time.
Poor Adhesion
Often too little powder, uneven powder coverage, or not enough press pressure/time. Coat evenly while the ink is wet, tap off excess, and confirm your press settings for the fabric.
Banding or Lines in the Print
Typically clogged nozzles or missing jets. Run a nozzle check, do a light head clean, and make sure white ink is circulating. See our maintenance guide.
Weak or Dull Colors
Check your RIP ink limits and white underbase, and verify your color settings. A weak white base makes everything look washed out on darks.
White Ink Issues
Settling is the #1 cause. Agitate regularly and keep circulation running. Read about our inks.
