- Hot-melt adhesive powder — what bonds the print to fabric.
- A curing method — a curing oven, or a heat press used to cure (melts the powder before pressing).
- Heat press — a solid clamshell or swing-away (15″×15″ is the popular starting size) for applying transfers.
Consumables to keep stocked
- Extra ink, film, and powder — never run dry mid-order.
- Cleaning solution for daily maintenance.
- Parchment / Teflon sheets for pre- and post-pressing.
- Blank garments to print on and to test.
